In 2010, we began the process of planting Ashland Church in Richmond. In 2018, Ashland Church became a local autonomous church. After 14 years, we are committed to being firmly established in Richmond for generations to come. The lease for our current building expires in 6 years. Over this time, we need to decide on and begin to execute our long-term plans for a permanent location in Richmond.

Beginning April 1, 2024, we will begin a month of prayer through the following seven requests. We will send a specific prayer request each day of the week as a reminder.

We will spend April 26th in prayer and fasting. You will be able to sign up for a 30-minute prayer chain. We will make available a fasting guide. Please include the following prayer requests during your fast.

As we consider our future…

MONDAY – Pray we remain focused on spreading a passion for the supremacy of Christ in all things for the joy of all peoples.

TUESDAY – Pray we remain faithful in sharing Christ and that by God’s grace, we will continue to see many people believe the gospel of Jesus Christ and be saved.

WEDNESDAY – Pray we remain committed to the Great Commission to make disciples through planting churches around the world.

THURSDAY – Pray for wisdom for our leaders as they consider the best options to put before our congregation. 

FRIDAY – Pray for gospel unity as we make important decisions that will include a variety of opinions and viewpoints.

SATURDAY – Pray we will have the courage to continue sacrificially giving and trusting God who has always been faithful to provide for us.

SUNDAY – Pray God will lead us to the most strategic location and provide the best facilities for our church to continue ministering the gospel in Richmond and to the ends of the earth.
