What is the most outrageous thing you have read in the Bible? What truths or stories in the Bible do you think “the world” considers the most outrageous or unbelievable? Why do you embrace these things as truth? How would you compel others to do the same?

What are you tempted to believe is your greatest problem in life? How does this determine where you put your hope? How does this determine who you look to as Savior? (Because I believe ________ is my biggest problem, I tend to trust __________ to rescue me.)  

But, of course, what mattered most of all was my deep-seated hatred of authority, my monstrous individualism, my lawlessness. What does it mean the Savior must be my Savior?  What does it look like for someone to generically believe Jesus is Savior?
